Often considered on the dark arts of bicycle maintenance, it is something I have specialised in for over a decade. Over the last 15 years I estimate that I have built somewhere like 4000 wheels, it’s something that comes naturally to me now and I now obsess over minor details. Ensuring the spoke tensions are perfectly balanced and appropriate for the rim, spoke and hub combination.

Using the best tools at my disposal and applying spoke preparation before building ensures that every wheel that leaves my workshop is a wheel for life. I even offer free lifetime service for complete custom wheels as I standby the brands and products that I work with for as long as the wheel is in use.
