If you are considering a new bike then you have almost certainly been offered paint protection film from Invisiframe or Ridewrap. If not then its definitely something I’d recommend, it serves 2 main purposes, firstly a barrier against minor surface damage like scuffs, scrapes and trail debris. The second benefit comes when removing and replacing the film, the paint underneath remains perfect and as such retains the bikes aesthetics.

If you ever consider selling your bike on after a few years of riding, removing the paint protection film brings the bike back to like-new condition, greatly increasing the re-sale value.
